MiP ros\u00e9 = Made in Provence<\/h2>\n

Geen enkele ros\u00e9 is zo bekend als de MiP Rose Classic van het wijnhuis Domaine des Diables. Een super succesnummer waar veel vraag naar is en een wijn die zichzelf verkoopt. Op vele populaire terrassen en wijnbars is het elk jaar weer een enorm succes. En eerlijk is eerlijk, wij begrijpen wel waarom. Deze heerlijk fruitige en elegante MiP ros\u00e9 drinkt echt fantastisch!<\/p>\n

Waar komt Mip ros\u00e9 vandaan?<\/h2>\n

The name MiP* actually came about by a funny coincidence. MiP stands for *Made in Provence*, something owner Guillaume Philip and his wife Virginie want to emphasize in their wine. After all, ros\u00e9 from Provence has that ultimate Mediterranean feeling of sunshine, laissez-faire, the good life, and enjoying fruity, elegant, and pure wines. Guillaume and Virginie Philip want to convey that delightful Mediterranean feeling with their wines. That is how the idea arose to emphasize that the wine is made in Provence\u2014Made in Provence, in other words!<\/p>\n

MiP Rose Classic<\/h2>\n

In 2007, they produced their first wine, the now-famous MIP ros\u00e9. In their pursuit of excellent wines, the wines and Guillaume & Virginie Philip themselves have already won multiple prestigious awards from various competitions and wine guides, including the Prix d\u2019Excellence at the Concours G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Agricole for nine consecutive years (!). An unprecedented achievement!<\/p>\n

Terroir and vinification<\/h2>\n

Provence has a subtropical climate with warm summers and fairly mild winters. On the predominantly stony soil of the estate stand mainly syrah<\/a>, grenache<\/a>, cinsault<\/a> and Rolle (Vermentino) are planted. Each plot is vinified separately in order to apply the perfect vinification method for each soil type. The soil around the estate is composed of red clay, loam, sand, and stones, an ideal composition for the production of very flavorful ros\u00e9 wines that are rich in aromas.<\/p>\n

Door het warme en droge klimaat heersen er bovendien weinig ziektes in de wijngaarden en is het gebruik van bestrijdingsmiddelen nauwelijks nodig. Deze natuurvriendelijke aanpak heeft vanzelfsprekend een positief effect op de wijnen van Guillaume & Virginie Philip.<\/p>\n

Voor de MIP Classic worden \u2019s nachts de druiven geplukt na het oogsten rond het vriespunt bewaard. Hoe koeler de druiven, hoe minder kleur van de bessen zich in het sap verspreidt.\u00a0Zo ontstaat een heel licht getinte ros\u00e9 met geur- en smaaknuances van rode vruchtjes, perzik en citrusfruit naast een verleidelijke geur van rozenblaadjes.<\/p>\n

Smaak en spijs combinaties<\/h2>\n
