A huge success story that is in high demand and a wine that sells itself. It is a massive hit year after year on many popular terraces and wine bars. And let's be honest, we understand why. This deliciously fruity and elegant MiP ros\u00e9 is truly fantastic to drink!<\/p>\n<h2>Where does Mip ros\u00e9 come from?<\/h2>\n<p>The name MiP* actually came about by a funny coincidence. MiP stands for *Made in Provence*, something owner Guillaume Philip and his wife Virginie want to emphasize in their wine. After all, ros\u00e9 from Provence has that ultimate Mediterranean feeling of sunshine, laissez-faire, the good life, and enjoying fruity, elegant, and pure wines. Guillaume and Virginie Philip want to convey that delightful Mediterranean feeling with their wines. That is how the idea arose to emphasize that the wine is made in Provence\u2014Made in Provence, in other words!<\/p>\n<h2>MiP Rose Classic<\/h2>\n<p>In 2007, they produced their first wine, the now-famous MIP ros\u00e9. In their pursuit of excellent wines, the wines and Guillaume &amp; Virginie Philip themselves have already won multiple prestigious awards from various competitions and wine guides, including the Prix d\u2019Excellence at the Concours G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Agricole for nine consecutive years (!). An unprecedented achievement!<\/p>\n<h2>Terroir and vinification<\/h2>\n<p>Provence has a subtropical climate with warm summers and fairly mild winters. On the predominantly stony soil of the estate stand mainly <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/syrah\/\">syrah<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/grenache\/\">grenache<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/cinsault\/\">cinsault<\/a> and Rolle (Vermentino) are planted. Each plot is vinified separately in order to apply the perfect vinification method for each soil type. The soil around the estate is composed of red clay, loam, sand, and stones, an ideal composition for the production of very flavorful ros\u00e9 wines that are rich in aromas.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, due to the warm and dry climate, there are few diseases in the vineyards and the use of pesticides is hardly necessary. This nature-friendly approach naturally has a positive effect on the wines of Guillaume &amp; Virginie Philip.<\/p>\n<p>For the MIP Classic, the grapes are picked at night and stored at around freezing point after harvesting. The cooler the grapes, the less color from the berries disperses into the juice.
