Gemaakt van de inheemse Moscato-druif uit Sicili\u00eb staat deze wijn bekend om haar aromatische bouquet. De neus vult zich met de typische aroma&#8217;s van de muskaatdruif; witte bloemen met een zachte citrusnoot. In de mond is de wijn perfect in balans met zoet fruit en een knisperfrisse zuren. Dankzij het relatief lage alcoholpercentage van 8,5% is deze <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/moscato\/\">Moscato<\/a> perfect als zoet aperitief of als digestief. <strong>Mundus Vini\u00a0<\/strong>gaf het oogstjaar 2018 een Zilveren Medaille en <strong>Berliner Wine Trophy\u00a0<\/strong> zelfs een Gouden Medaille! Met een gemiddelde score van 4.2 op Vivino kun je met deze wijn zeker thuiskomen!<\/p>\n<h3>Moscato-druif in Sicili\u00eb<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/moscato\/\">muskaat-druif<\/a> groeit al eeuwenlang op het Italiaanse eiland <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/regio\/italie\/sicilia-sicilie\/\">Sicily<\/a>. De teelt van de druif gaat terug tot in de oudheid wanneer de Grieken en Romeinen het eiland domineerden. Het zanderige terroir en droge klimaat in de zomermaanden is perfect voor deze druif. De vele zonuren zorgen ervoor dat de druiven veel suikers en zoete aroma&#8217;s aanmaken wat de typische geur en smaak geeft aan de wijn.<\/p>\n<h3>Oogst en vinificatie<\/h3>\n<p>De wijnteelt van de <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/domein\/stemmari\/\">Stemmari<\/a> Moscato is zo duurzaam mogelijk. Vandaar ook dat op het etiket &#8220;sustainably farmed&#8221; vermeld staat. De druiven ondergaan de maceratie, ofwel schilinweking, onder koude temperatuur in een zuurstofarme tank. Dit voorkomt dat de druiven te vroeg beginnen te fermenteren en daarmee belangrijke aroma&#8217;s verliezen. De fermentatie gebeurt ook onder gecontroleerde temperatuur en wordt goed in de gaten gehouden. Het belangrijkste in dit proces is dat de druiven zich op een natuurlijke manier ontwikkelen zodat de rijke, geurige aspecten die typerend zijn voor deze wijn optimaal naar voren komen.<\/p>\n<h2>Wijn-spijs Stemmari Moscato<\/h2>\n<p>De Stemmari Moscato is een geweldige wijn om als aperitief of als digestief te serveren. Idealiter schenk je deze wijn rond de 6\u00baC voor de optimale smaakbeleving. Dankzij de zoete smaak is dit de perfecte wijn om te schenken bij pittige gerechten uit bijvoorbeeld de Aziatische keuken.
