Deze Patrijs (Perdiquero)\u00a0 vliegt bij ons de schappen uit<\/h2>\n

Toen wij deze wijn aan de wijntafel proefden waren wij zeer onder de indruk van deze El Perdiguero Barrica. De kleur, geur en smaak zijn zo vol en doorleefd, dat een grijns op je gezicht lastig is te onderdrukken. Dit vinden wij een Spaanse tempranillo waar je blij van wordt. Een echte aanrader!<\/p>\n

El Perdiguero Barrica<\/h2>\n

Wat maakt deze El Perdiguergo Barrica van Baron de Ley<\/a> dan zo bijzonder? Allereerst zijn het de deels 60-80 jaar oude wijnstokken die voor deze wijn worden gebruikt. Particuliere bewoners uit de omgeving bezitten nog kleine percelen met deze oude wijnstokken. Deze druiven brengen zij naar Baron de Ley omdat de opbrengst van hun eigen percelen te klein is om er zelf wijn van te maken. Maar de kwaliteit is echter zeer goed en deze druiven geven een diepe, krachtige en doorleefde beleving aan de wijn. Juist omdat de wijn van oude wijnstokken afkomstig is, heeft de wijn veel aantrekkelijke en expressieve aroma’s van rood fruit, drop, vanille en romigheid. Een zacht, rond mondgevoel volgt met heerlijk zachte tannines met een lange plezierige afdronk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Nog onontdekte wijnregio Cigales<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In Spain, there are many well-known wine regions such as Rioja, Rueda, and Ribera del Duero, and a number of other famous names. Wines from these famous areas often find their way to the consumer quite easily. Cigales, however, does not yet have this level of recognition, even though, as evidenced by this El Perdiguero, exceptionally good wine can come from there. It is a rugged area, but with perfect conditions for making exciting and robust wines. However, because the Cigales wine region is not yet known to the general public, there is sufficient supply and the price-quality ratio is very competitive.<\/p>\n

Climate and winemaking<\/h2>\n

Cigales has a continental climate with cold winters and scorching summers. This makes life hard in the countryside. Young people are moving away from the countryside and choosing a life in a big city. The result is a sparsely populated countryside.<\/p>\n

De wijnstokken voor \u201cEl Perdiguero\u201d Barrica staan ver van elkaar gepland. Na de handmatige pluk wordt het fruit ontdaan van de stelen en vervolgens in RVS vaten gedaan, waar de druiven in hun geheel gedurende 5 dagen vergist worden. Hierdoor ontstaat een grote aromarijkdom en wordt de wijn ronder van smaak. Aansluitend volgt 6 maanden rijping op Amerikaans eiken vaten.<\/p>\n

El Perdiguero is intensely purple-red in color. The wine possesses an attractive and expressive aroma, with red fruit and licorice. Additionally, caramel, vanilla, and creaminess. Round on the palate, with exuberant fruit and soft tannins, and a long, pleasant finish. Serve this wine with red meat and hard cheeses; an irresistible combination!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
