Hailing from the heart of the Cava region, not far from Barcelona, \u200b\u200bthis Gran Bar\u00f3n Sparkling Alcohol-Free is a delicious alternative if you wish to set aside alcohol for a while. The motto in this region is \u201cLive like a Baron.\u201d That is why the winemakers of this alcohol-free Cava decided to name their winery after this motto. A beautifully balanced mousse, lightly mineral and spicy with notes of small blossoms. Slightly dry but above all refreshing. Smooth and fruity, ideal for summer!<\/p>\n

Tasting note Gran Bar\u00f3n Sparkling Alcohol Free<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the glass, the wine is pale yellow with a fine sparkle. Very fruity on the nose with aromas of pear, apple, banana, mango, and pineapple. The wine is fresh and dry on the palate, with a slight residual sweetness. Nicely balanced acidity and a delicate spiciness. A versatile wine for any time of day! Serve well chilled as a refreshing aperitif, with appetizers, and \u2013 classically \u2013 with paella with fish and seafood or grilled fish.<\/p>\n

Vinification<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This de-alcoholized Cava consists of a blend of Macabeo<\/a>, Parellada<\/a> and Xarel-lo<\/a>The grapes grow in the warm climate of Catalonia with more than 300 sunny days a year. The soil of the vineyards consists of clay, sand, and pebbles, which promotes drainage and the ripening of the grapes. After the harvest, the wine is fermented as normal. Subsequently, the alcohol is removed from the wine at a low temperature. The carbon dioxide and dosage are added only after this.<\/p>\n

Gran Bar\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gran Bar\u00f3n is a wine producer specializing in a wide range of sparkling wines. Located in the heart of the Cava region, not far from Barcelona, \u200b\u200bthe company benefits from the local motto \u201clive like a Baron,\u201d which is partly inspired by the abundant production of Cava in the area. The favorable microclimate, with more than three hundred sunny days a year, contributes to the positive atmosphere of the local community and promotes the growth of the grapes. Gran Bar\u00f3n\u2019s traditional sparkling wines are made from local grape varieties such as Macabeo, Parellada, and Xarel-lo.
