The Fontodi Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Terrazze San Leolino 2020 surprises with earthy, stony, and mineral aromas. On the palate, you experience an elegant yet deep flavor with notes of rose and red cherry. The tannins present are fine-grained, contributing to the wine's refined structure. The finish is zesty and possesses a unique salinity, giving the wine a distinctive character. Although this wine is already accessible, it will improve even further with bottle aging, making it an excellent choice for both immediate consumption and long-term storage.<\/p>\n
Fontodi, located in the iconic Conca d\u2019Oro valley in Panzano, Tuscany, is known for its sustainable viticulture practices and high quality standards. The grapes for the Terrazze San Leolino 2020 are harvested by hand and carefully selected. After the harvest, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine ages for 24 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new and 50% second-year. This process ensures a perfect balance between fruit, wood, and tannins.<\/p>\n
