The history of The Fishwives Club is a remarkable one. The story begins a few years ago when owner and advertising executive Patrick Robertson lost his business, partner, and home at the age of 43. With the little money he had left, he left Johannesburg and returned to live in his native village of Hout Bay, near Cape Town. Desperate, Patrick visited several fortune tellers who, independently of one another, told him the same thing: it had something to do with the sea. He met two sisters who possessed tremendous artistic talent. And suddenly, all the wheels started turning again\u2026 The Fishwives Club was born. A wild and artistic label sets the tone.<\/p>\n
The grapes are personally selected by award-winning winemaker, none other than Theunis Van Zijl, who sources them from both his own estate and the abundant Cape regions\u2014internationally known for producing the best that their specific cultivars have to offer.
