Citrus aromas and white flowers characterize the aromatic profile with a light hint of butter. On the palate, it is surprisingly crisp yet creamy, with a soft bitterness for complexity. This wine comes from a specific plot in Chassagne-Montrachet with limestone and clayey soils called \u201cles pierres\u201d. The Aligot\u00e9 grape, a historic variety from Burgundy, forms the basis. The terroir and careful viticulture result in an authentic Burgundy with great character. The grapes are <strong>hand-harvested<\/strong> in small crates of a maximum of 30 kg. After the harvest, the whole grape clusters are gently pressed. Natural fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. The wine then ages in oak for 10 months. <strong>without the use of new barrels<\/strong>. Regular <strong>batonnage<\/strong> creates extra complexity. Annual production is limited to 2,000 bottles.
