Wijnhuis en Productiemethode<\/h2>\n

Bodegas Luz\u00f3n staat bekend om zijn moderne interpretatie van traditionele Spaanse wijnen. De druiven worden zorgvuldig geselecteerd uit de wijngaarden van Jumilla. Het vinificatieproces start traditioneel met een vergisting van 6-8 dagen bij 26-28 graden. Een maceratie\/schilinweking van 5-10 dagen zorgt voor extra smaakextractie. Daarna volgt een zorgvuldige dealcoholisatie waarbij de karakteristieke smaken behouden blijven. Deze innovatieve aanpak is beloond met zilver bij Mundus Vini 2024.<\/p>\n

Het Verhaal van Bodegas Luz\u00f3n en het terroir<\/h2>\n

Bodegas Luz\u00f3n behoort tot de oudste wijnhuizen in D.O.P Jumilla, het thuisland van de Monastrell druif. De geschiedenis begint in 1841 met Don Jose Molina, die terugkeerde uit Luzon, het grootste Filippijnse eiland. Het wijnhuis onderscheidde zich door zijn vooruitstrevende karakter. Tot het einde van de 20e eeuw werd het wijnhuis geleid door de vrouwen uit de oprichtende familie. Deze pioniersgeest zet zich voort in de combinatie van traditie en innovatie. Het wijnhuis zet zich in voor duurzame wijnbouw met respect voor het milieu.<\/p>\n

De wijngaarden van Jumilla vormen de perfecte omgeving voor Monastrell druiven. Het warme, mediterrane klimaat zorgt voor optimale rijping.
