Not that we are used to anything less from this family; on the contrary! <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/domein\/pasqua\/\">Pasqua<\/a> we know as a particularly skilled and passionate wine company. This <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/primitivo\/\">Primitivo<\/a> wine comes from vineyards with old vines, and the grapes are still hand-picked. The wine itself is delightfully luscious and round, full-bodied with soft tannins. Truly amazing! Amazingly good, especially for this price!<\/p>\n<h2>Terroir and winemaking<\/h2>\n<p>The grapes receive plenty of sunshine in the particularly warm Puglia. The Primitivo grape copes with this exceptionally well. A cool breeze regularly blows across the peninsula, ensuring the grapes do not get too hot. This cooling is necessary for the balanced development of the grapes' flavor. The red Primitivo grapes for this wine are hand-picked, rigorously selected, and gently crushed. Subsequently, the grapes remain in their juice for a week in a low-temperature tank. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 22-26\u00b0C for 15 to 20 days. After a second (malolactic) fermentation, the wine undergoes 6 months of wood aging.<\/p>\n<h2>Desire Lush Zin Primitivo taste and food pairing<\/h2>\n<p>The winemaking process chosen by the Pasqua family produces a beautiful wine with a deep red color. On the nose, this Desire Lush ZIN Primitivo has intense aromas of plums, red fruit, coffee, cocoa, and spicy notes. The wine is luscious and round, full-bodied with soft tannins.
