Deze blend bestaat voornamelijk uit <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/syrah\/\">Syrah<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/merlot\/\">Merlot<\/a>, supplemented with <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/cabernet-sauvignon\/\">Cabernet Sauvignon<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/petit-verdot\/\">Petit Verdot<\/a> \u2013 a textbook example of modern viticulture in Tuscany. And yes, \u201cInsoglio del Cinghiale\u201d literally means \u2018naughty wild boar\u2019 \u2013 that immediately explains the label.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"1051\">Thanks to its location close to the sea, the grapes benefit from a unique microclimate, allowing them to develop optimally. This is a wine that is both easy to drink and layered \u2013 ideal for those wishing to get acquainted with the world of Super Tuscans. Harold Hamersma described it as \u201can Italian for Bordeaux lovers\u201d and awarded it a 9.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1053\" data-end=\"1092\"><strong data-start=\"1053\" data-end=\"1092\">The taste of Biserno Campo di Sasso<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1516\">On the palate, a story full of red and black fruit unfolds. Cherries and blackberries dominate, followed by subtle notes of tobacco and dried herbs. The tannins are supple and beautifully integrated, resulting in a soft and elegant finish. This wine is perfectly balanced \u2013 not too heavy, but certainly not too light. You taste the warmth of the Tuscan sun, combined with the fresh influence of the sea breeze.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1518\" data-end=\"1808\">The Mediterranean vegetation \u2013 the maquis \u2013 can be tasted in hints of myrtle and rosemary. A pinch of pepper and roasted accents complete the flavour profile. The Insoglio del Cinghiale offers pleasant drinkability, while maintaining a beautiful length. The 56 hectares of sandy soils are particularly suitable for grapes such as Syrah. The slightly higher temperatures in this part of Tuscany ensure optimal ripening. Thanks to the specific combination of soil and climate, this area clearly distinguishes itself from the Bolgheri region, which is known for its stony soils.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3605\" data-end=\"4046\">After the harvest, the grapes are first destemmed, after which fermentation takes place for 2 to 3 weeks at 28 degrees. Subsequently, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. About 40% of the wine then ages for four months in used French oak barrels. This blend of modern techniques and respect for the terroir results in a wine that is highly regarded internationally.
