Wine has been produced here for over 1,200 years, and exclusively Riesling since 1720. The 50 hectares of vineyards are ideally situated on south-facing slopes along the Rhine. With a unique subsoil of Taunus quartzite, loam, loess, and a touch of iron oxide \u2013 the perfect basis for Riesling with finesse and power.<\/p>\n<p>The grapes for Goldlack are harvested by hand, followed by a 48-hour maceration.
