De Boutinot Les Coteaux C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne Villages heeft in de neus elegante bessenfruit aroma’s, een hint van kruiden en pittig rood fruit. Lichte nuances van eikenhout. Als mondgevoel proef je een zachte textuur met zachte tannines. Romig.<\/p>\n

Met Les Coteaux van wijnhuis Boutinot zijn heerlijke combinaties te maken met gestoofd rundvlees, cassoulet<\/a> op Franse wijze gemaakt, geroosterde eend of geroosterd lam<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Of zoals Madeleine Triffon, director of Wine Matt Prince Restaurant Group het zegt: The meatiness in Rh\u00f4ne reds likes lamb.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Het is gebruikelijk in de C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne de beste cuv\u00e9es te bottelen als een enkele dorpswijnen.\u00a0 De rest ggat dan in de algemene\u00a0 C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne Villages appelatie. Echter de filosofie van Boutinot daarentegen is juist de allerbeste C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne-dorpen te maken door wijn te kopen
\nvan de wijngaarden van genoemde dorpen, en verrijkt ze met een klein deel van op vat gerijpte wijn van Sablet, S\u00e9guret en Cairanne.<\/p>\n

Boutinot’s C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne Villages ‘Les Coteaux’ is daarom eenselectie van de beste Grenache Noir en Syrah uit enkele van de 17 genoemde C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne Villages.<\/p>\n

Men koopt druiven van een aantal telers met een uitzonderlijk terroir en hebben dus de flexibiliteit om te selecteren Alleen het allerbeste fruit per oogstjaar. Een klein deel (20%) wordt gedurende 22 maanden gedeeltelijk gerijpt in een paar nieuwe, maar meestal oudere, eikenvaten om diepte en subtiele tonen van complexiteit te brengen. De overige 80% wordt op RVS tanks gerijpt welke meer voor primair fruit zorgt.<\/p>\n

Boutinot<\/h2>\n

Boutinot is een grote producent die wijnen betrekt uit vele delen van de wereld. In de Rhone heeft men voornamelijk eigen wijngaarden waar gewerkt met respect voor de omgeving. Men gebruikt zo min mogelijk toevoegingen in het maken van de wijnen.<\/p>\n

Paul Boutinot\u2019s is lid van een illuster gezelschap dat tot doel heeft de originele Rhone Villages te bewaren. Zij bezoeken de zuidelijke dorpen van de C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne op zoek naar \u00a0perfect terroir \u00e9n partners met flexibele faciliteiten voor de vinificatie en rijping van de wijnen. De zoektocht heeft uitzonderlijke \u201csingle village\u201d wijnen en een voortreffelijke C\u00f4tes du Rh\u00f4ne Village opgeleverd. Afkomstig uit onder andere S\u00e9guret en Cairanne en delen van Roaix, St. Gervais en Sablet. Eric Monnin vinifieert elk perceel afzonderlijk en voedt vervolgens de wijnen op in een combinatie van nieuwe vaten, oudere vaten en demi-muids (600 liter). De strenge selectie en het streven naar perfectie resulteert in verbluffend mooie Rh\u00f4ne wijnen. Elke wijn op zich geeft een prachtige weerspiegeling van het terroir<\/p>\n
