Taittinger, a must for December 31st<\/h2>\n

Champagne is not for every day, but the Taittinger Brut Reserve is truly addictive; what a dangerous drink! Beautiful golden yellow in color. The bubbles are fine, while the foam is soft yet lingers. The nose, very open and extroverted, immediately delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. It also releases the scent of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia), and a hint of vanilla. Immediately lively on the palate, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with aromas of fresh fruit and honey.<\/p>\n

Taittinger Brut R\u00e9serve is the champagne for every special occasion. A true symbol of celebration, the ideal party partner for the happiest milestones in your life. But enjoying it with breakfast after a heavy night is perfectly fine too, of course!<\/p>\n

Let it yeast for a long time, and that counts!<\/h2>\n

Taittinger Brut R\u00e9serve acquires its maturity during a minimum of 3 years of aging on its lees in the cellar, and, partly as a result, possesses excellent aromatic potential. The Taittinger Brut R\u00e9serve is a blend of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier (60%) wines from more than 35 different vineyards and vintages, aged to perfection. Such a high proportion Chardonnay,<\/a> Unique among fine non-vintage champagnes, and a minimum aging of three years in the cellars makes Taittinger Brut R\u00e9serve a delicate and refined champagne, known for its consistently excellent quality.<\/p>\n

Every year, the Taittinger tasting panel has the important task of defining that unique taste when the wine is still and before the bubbles are created.
\nWho knows if it will be a great harvest? They say that a soul rises every time a champagne cork pops. Are they perhaps the souls of the Benedictine monks of the Abbey of Saint-Nicaise? Claude Taittinger described his understanding of the tasting process and the philosophy behind the composition of Taittinger vintages in his book \u2018Champagne par Taittinger\u2019, published in 1996. \u2018We proceed in small steps. The goal is to create a champagne that is completely unique\u2019, while humbly acknowledging that the process requires \u2018work, a systematic approach, and a bit of luck\u2019.<\/p>\n
