Hier hebben we te maken met een uitstekende stille en lekker rijke wijn gemaakt van de <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/sangiovese\/\">Sangiovese<\/a> druif. En tjonge, deze mag er zijn! De heerlijke, fruitige Tre Monti Campo di Mezzo Sangiovese Superiore van de broers Vittorio en David Navacchia. Diepe, donkerpaarse kleur. Lekker rond en juicy, heerlijk overladen met briljant vers bosfruit met hints van zwarte en zure kers, ook framboos en viooltjes. Ook gebrande tonen zoals toast, koffie en chocolade. Evenwichtig, vlezige structuur met versmolten tannines en wat aards op het eind.<\/p>\n<p>En tja ze zeggen&#8230;.when in Rome, do as the Romans do: Eet bij de Tre Monti Campo di Mezzo Sangiovese Superiore lekker de gebakken kalfslever met aceto champignons bij, of zelfs: Tripa op de wijze van Antonio Carluccio, (haha, wie durft) maar ook coppa di parma of de lokale salami is er hier heerlijk bij.<\/p>\n<h2>Tre Monti<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p>Sommige &#8220;keuzes in het leven&#8221; zijn niet-rationeel te verklaren. Misschien worden ze geleid door emoties en ervaringen.\u00a0 Soms bewust, vaak ook onbewust. Zo was het dus toen Thea en Sergio Navacchia in de vroege jaren zeventig op weg gingen naar dit avontuur. Sergio en Thea, op hun eigen manier, waren revolutionairen. Een revolutie die begon in de wijngaard. Zij waren bijvoorbeeld \u00e9\u00e9n van de eersten die met grote plant dichtheid per hectare gingen werken en experimenteerden\u00a0 met niet-traditionele wijnstokken. Vittorio en David, hun zonen, zette het levenswerk voort na het overlijden van hun moeder in 1989.
