Cannubi is the place where it all began for Barolo. After all, the oldest known Nebbiolo wine from Piedmont bore the name Cannubi on the label, not yet Barolo. To this day, this mythical place is renowned for the high quality and recognizable effect of its unique microclimate. Surrounded by higher hills, the vineyards are well protected, and the grapes ripen here slightly earlier than average. As a result, a special microclimate prevails, and the grapes ripen just a little earlier than average.<\/p>\n
