Very tasty Pinot Grigio from Sicily<\/h2>\n

Pinot Grigio<\/a> You usually see it planted in Northern Italy, but it also thrives in warm Sicily. This Stemmari Pinot Grigio has a beautiful straw-yellow color and delicate notes of lightly ripened white fruit such as peach and pear, supported by a distinct floral aroma. Pleasant acidity provides a tasty tension. A good, plump viscosity combined with tightness and freshness due to some minerality also gives this wine a fine structure.<\/p>\n

The harvest takes place at night in mid-August to preserve the aroma of the grapes. The grapes are collected at the beginning of technological ripening to maintain acidity and freshness. The grapes are destemmed and pressed, and extremely gentle pressing is used to prevent color extraction. Natural settling occurs, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees for 10 days. Aging takes place on the lees for 5 months.<\/p>\n

The Stemmari Pinot Grigio pairs excellently with raw fish and shellfish antipasto. Delicious with Fritto Misto or Verdure Misto and Spaghetti with Bottarga.<\/p>\n
