Donnafugata La Fuga Chardonnay Contessa Entellina is a particularly versatile wine that is pleasantly fresh with a fragrant bouquet of tropical aromas (pineapple) and apple (Golden Delicious) combined with floral scents.<\/p>\n<h2>Donnafugata La Fuga Chardonnay<\/h2>\n<p>De La Fuga is made of a <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/druiven\/chardonnay\/\">Chardonnay<\/a> grape and originating from the Contessa Entellina region in Sicily. More information about the producer can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/producenten\/donnafugata\/\">Donnafugata<\/a>. The majority of the rainfall occurred in the spring; only in some plots did heavy precipitation fall in the summer. Donnafugata operates according to the principles of ecologically sustainable viticulture. This involves integrated management ranging from pruning to thinning, the selection of different harvest times, and night harvesting (which gives the grapes a fresh style). This results in healthy and well-ripened grapes for a fragrant, perfumed La Fuga wine.<\/p>\n<h2>Tasting note<\/h2>\n<p>A Chardonnay with a versatile character. The color is a beautiful straw yellow. On the nose, the delicious fruity aromas of pineapple and white fruit are accompanied by spicy hints of thyme. On the palate, it is a very lively wine thanks to the freshness and mineral notes. A fresh and fragrant bouquet with tropical aromas (pineapple) and apple (Golden Delicious) combined with floral scents.<\/p>\n<h2>Wine and food combination<\/h2>\n<p>A perfect wine for a full meal, it pairs well with vegetable or seafood risottos, spiced chicken, and savory pies.
