Sa(ngiovese)+ Syr(ah) = Sasyr<\/h2>\n

Rocca delle Mac\u00ece Sasyr Sangiovese – Syrah is een rode wijn uit Toscane. De wijn heeft zijn naam gekregen door een combinatie van de druiven waarvan hij is gemaakt: sa(ngiovese) en syr(ah). Een robijnrode wijn met een rijk geur- en smaakpalet. In de neus fruitige aroma\u2019s van kersen, zwarte bessen en framboos met vanille. In de mond is Sasyr lekker rond en mooi zacht fris en soepel met een aanhoudende afdronk. Mooi rijp donker en rood fruit en vanille door de houtrijping. Deze ‘Super Tuscan’ is soepeler, zachter en minder zuur dan Chianti’s die alleen van Sangiovese zijn gemaakt. Een hele mooie toegankelijke rode wijn met veel verfijning. De Rocca delle Mac\u00ece Sasyr combineert bovendien geweldig met een saus op basis van tomaten. Pasta Arrabiata, Puttanesca of Bolognese.<\/p>\n

Afkomstig uit de Maremma, het kustgebied ten westen van de chiantistreek. Na korte inweking en vergisting op roestvrijstaal volgt assemblage in de verhouding 60% sangiovese\u00a0 en 40% syrah. Een deel van de sangiovese-druiven wordt 6 maanden gerijpt\u00a0 op kleine vaten van Frans eiken.<\/p>\n

Over Rocca della Maci\u0300e<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Rocca delle Mac\u00ece werd opgericht door Italo Zingarelli, een kleurrijke persoonlijkheid die zijn fortuin had vergaard als bokser en als producent van spaghettiwesterns. Met dat fortuin besloot hij zijn dromen waar te maken en zo kocht hij in 1973 een boerderij uit de veertiende eeuw in het hartje van de Chiantistreek. Daar streek hij met zijn familie neer en beplantte hij zijn eerste wijngaarden. Rocca delle Mac\u00ece groeide uit tot een eigenzinnig bedrijf met niet alleen wijngaarden rond Castellina, maar ook in de Maremma. In 1985 nam Italo\u2019s jongste zoon Sergio de leiding over en bouwde hij het domein met veel succes verder uit. Zijn wijnen, uiteraard ook van Sangiovese, maar ook van Syrah, Chardonnay, Vermentino, Pinot grigio en Trebbiano, krijgen dan ook regelmatig hoge perswaarderingen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
