Donnafugata Tancredi<\/h2>\n

The most important grapes in this blend are the grapes Cabernet Sauvignon<\/a>, Nero d’Avola <\/a>and Tannat. These three grape varieties are known for their power, depth, tannins, and fruitiness. The vineyards for this wine are located in southwestern Sicily, on the Contessa Entellina estate and adjacent areas. The altitude of the vineyards varies from 200 to 600 m above sea level. It is a hilly terrain with clay loam soils, rich in nutrients (potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, manganese, zinc) and total limestone of 20 to 35%. Mild winters with little rainfall. Manual harvest of grapes in crates with careful selection of the grapes in the vineyard. Further quality selection is carried out in the cellar, where green and overripe berries that may still be on the bunches are removed. Fermentation in stainless steel and maceration on the skins for 14 days at a temperature of 28\u201330\u00b0C. Aging for 12 months in new and old French oak barriques and subsequently in the bottle for at least 20 months.<\/p>\n

In the glass, a deep ruby \u200b\u200bred color. On the nose, a fragrant bouquet with spicy aromas of red fruit and delicate notes of licorice and sweet tobacco. On the palate, it offers structure with significant and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and broad. Aging potential of more than 20 years.<\/p>\n
