Touriga Nacional<\/a>, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca en Tinto C\u00e3o. Een blend van geselecteerde jonge ports die enige jaren rijpen in grote eikenhouten vaten. Het jonge en intense fruitkarakter blijft hierdoor behouden.\u00a0 \u00a0De port verkrijgt zijn zoete en krachtige karakter mede door het met pure alcohol versterken van de nog maar half uitvergiste wijn. Doordat dan het vergistingsproces wordt stilgelegd blijven veel nog onvergiste suikers achter die de wijn het zwoele zoete karakter geven. Juist daarom is wijn ook uitstekend geschikt voor de, wat beginnende, wijndrinker.Een zoete wijn is voor velen een aangename afsluiter van de maaltijd. Wel dient de wijn liever een paar graden koeler dan kamertemperatuur te worden geschonken om het fruit nog meer te laten spreken.<\/p>\nDeze Fine Ruby port heeft een verleidelijke geur van zwart fruit. een rijk volle body met smaken van rood fruit, zoals pruimen en frambozen, chocolade en mediterrane kruiden.<\/p>\n
Deze port is heerlijk op zichzelf bij het aperitief bijvoorbeeld maar is juist door zijn krachtige stijl geschikt voor intense gerechten zoals\u00a0 kazen, chocolade desserts. Een vreemde maar uitstekende combinatie is ook met die met een peppersteak. Probeer het eens!<\/p>\n
Feuerheerds is de naam van \u00e9\u00e9n van de twee porthuizen van de Van Zeller familie.\u00a0 De Van Zeller familie vindt zijn oorsprong in de 13e (!!) eeuw in de steden Mechelen en Nijmegen waar men meerdere gebouwen bezat. Gedurende de 80-jarige oorlog migreerde men naar Spanje en Portugal. Hun nazaten zijn nu de 14e generatie. Men behoort tot de top van de Port en de wijnhandel in de Douro streek. Het bedrijf wordt nu geleidt door Christiano van Zeller samen met zijn dochter Francisca.\u00a0 Naast de Porthuizen worden door de Van Zeller Familie ook een prachtige wijnportfolio beheert.
