Not so long ago, this variety had almost completely disappeared. Fortunately, a few dedicated wineries have worked hard to preserve it.<br data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"509\" \/>Today, it grows <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/susumaniello\/\">Susumaniello<\/a> weather \u2013 especially on the <strong data-start=\"565\" data-end=\"589\">Salento peninsula<\/strong> \u2013 although it remains a fairly rare sight.
