Serre dei Roveri Appassimento Barbera is a concentrated, flavorful red wine with a dark purple color. The aromas burst from the glass: cherries, leather, tobacco, oak, and spices. The typical flavor profile of a classic Barbera. However, due to the drying of the grapes (Appassimento), it has significantly more fruit notes and is sweeter than a standard Barbera. Soft tannins. Nice acidity with a slightly sweet and spicy finish. And, for a Barbera, it is also favorably priced.<\/p>\n
