The San Marzano Tramari Ros\u00e9 di Primitivo is a deliciously dry rosato, the Italian word for ros\u00e9. Nice and fresh, lots of fruit, and a full finish! The Aglianico grape is used for this ros\u00e9, a real flavor bomb. Tramari is a ros\u00e9 from Puglia, the heel of Italy, just the way a ros\u00e9 should be. Salmon pink in color. Juicy, dry, and full of summer fruit, such as cherries, strawberries, and raspberries. The wine is beautifully balanced: smooth, round, and with pleasant spiciness on the nose.<\/p>\n
The Primitivo grape normally produces fruity, deep, and intense red wines. The freshness of the San Marzano Tramari Ros\u00e9 di Primitivo is therefore surprising. It could easily be a ros\u00e9 from Provence. The beautiful color and smoothness are due to the rapid removal of (part of) the Primitivo must before fermentation. In Italy, this wine was awarded 94 points by Luca Maroni.<\/p>\n
