Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this wine is known for its fresh, lively, and spiritual character. Spiritual? Absolutely! Because this vibrant Montes <a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/sauvignon-blanc\/\">Sauvignon Blanc<\/a> Reserva is made in the Montes wine cellar, which is built entirely according to the principles of Feng Shui.<\/p>\n<h3>How does it taste and what do you drink it with?<\/h3>\n<p>It has a fresh green color and a very expressive aroma. On the one hand, the wine displays green fruit such as Granny Smith apples, gooseberries, and fresh green bell peppers; on the other, tropical fruit like pineapple and passion fruit such as mango. A crisp, fresh taste and a juicy mouthfeel make this a delicious Sauvignon. The ultimate companion for a party, an aperitif, or a summer lunch. The perfect house wine. Pairs well with goat cheese salad, raw vegetables, but also with shrimp or mussels, or even Verdure misto with a crispy tempura batter.<\/p>\n<h3>The region and winemaking<\/h3>\n<p>Montes Winery, situated in the beautiful Valle de Casablanca, has a rich history and is known for its dedication to quality. The region offers an ideal climate for the Sauvignon Blanc grape, with cool nights and sunny days. This microclimate ensures the development of intense aromas and flavors in the grapes. The Montes Sauvignon Blanc Reserva is made with great care. The grapes are hand-picked to guarantee the best quality. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed, and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. This process helps to preserve the freshness and fruity characteristics of the wine. The wine then ages in the bottle for several months before being released to the market, allowing it to develop its refined and balanced taste.<\/p>\n<h3>Aurelio Montes<\/h3>\n<p>In 1987, Aurelio Montes and three partners took the initiative to start a wine company with the goal of utilizing the full potential of Chile as a wine-producing country and producing wine of absolute top quality. They have succeeded admirably, producing iconic wines such as their Purple Angel. Montes is one of the absolute top producers in Chile, and Aurelio was recently voted the country's most influential wine producer. Montes owns five vineyards. Three of them are located in the Curico Valley and two in the Colchagua Valley; together, they cover an area of \u200b\u200b600 hectares. In 2004, a completely new winery was built in Alpalta, designed according to the Chinese Feng Shui philosophy.
