Tommasi Amarone Classico Della Valpolicella jeroboam bezit diepe aroma’s van pruim, rozijnen, dadels en cacao. De bedwelmende geur knalt uit je glas! In de mond is deze Amarone fluweel zacht, rond en filmend. Aangenaam zoet met een volle smaak van rijpe zwarte kersen. Overweldigend. Familiebedrijf Tommasi<\/h2>\n

Het in 1902 opgericht familiebedrijf Tommasi ligt in Pedemonte, een klein dorpje in het hart van de ‘Valpolicella Classico’ regio, in het noordwestelijk deel van Verona-Veneto. De familie bezit uitzonderlijk mooi gelegen wijndomeinen voor de productie van hoge kwaliteitswijnen in de D.O.C. regio’s rondom Verona. Het gebied wordt vooral geprezen om zijn onvergelijkbare rode wijnen: Amarone Classico della Valpolicella (zoals deze), Ripasso,\u00a0Valpolicella en Recioto della Valpolicella.<\/p>\n

Tommasi Amarone Classico Della\u00a0Valpolicella<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Deze Amarone is gemaakt volgens de traditionele ‘Appassimento’ methode. Alleen de beste en meest rijpe trossen komen in de Amarone. Na de oogst worden de druiven op kleine rekken gehangen in open gebouwen, waar ze door de koele herfst en winter bries indrogen tot februari. Ze verliezen daarbij ongeveer 50% van hun gewicht en de concentratie van de natuurlijke suikers neemt toe. Na de vergisting rijpt de wijn gedurende minimaal 3 jaar op Sloveens eiken vaten van 35 hl en daarna nog een jaar op fles.<\/p>\n

Taste and food pairing<\/h2>\n

De Tommasi Amarone heeft een intens robijnrode kleur. De wijn heeft warme, rijpe geuren in de neus, intens en verfijnd. Een complexe smaak, glad, vol van kracht met heel veel kersen, noten en pruimen. De Amarone is voortreffelijk in combinatie met rood vlees, rib-eye met rucola<\/a>, wild en oude kazen. Wat volgt is een eindeloos lange afdronk. Ook na het eten kan je de Amarone uitschenken als heerlijke after-dinner wijn. Genieten tot de laatste druppel.
