Give that ‘Nau’ to me now! Because it’s so good!<\/h2>\n

The NAU in the name of the wine Mora & Memo \u201cNau\u201d refers to Cannonau, the grape variety from which this wine is made. This Sardinian equivalent of the French Grenache and the Spanish Garnacha has been planted on the island for centuries and produces wines.\u00a0<\/span>Full of juicy ripe red fruit and buttery tannins. The Mora & Memo \u201cNau\u201d is a delicious wine with aromas of forest fruit, herbs, and some freshly roasted coffee notes. You taste plenty of ripe fruit with lots of juice, complemented by subtle notes of coffee, vanilla, and Garrigue. A complex, elegant wine with soft tannins, a beautiful structure, and an unmistakable Italian signature thanks to its exciting acidity. You can drink it immediately. Nau is ready right now! But it also pairs well with grilled lamb chops or with a pasta Puttanesca.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures in oak for 3 months. This makes it a bit softer and gives it just a little more body. The wine is then returned to stainless steel barrels, where it matures for another 6 months. The grapes are planted in vineyards at an altitude of about 220 meters, where there is a lot of limestone and clay in the soil. It is precisely this lime that provides a lighter and fresh structure to the wine. The exuberant sun ensures thoroughly ripe grapes, while the sea wind provides the necessary cooling in the vineyard, so that the acids in the grape are better preserved. The grapes for the Mora & Memo \u201cNau\u201d are picked in several rounds so that only 100% ripe grapes are harvested.<\/p>\n

Mora & Memo<\/h3>\n

Mora & Memo is the result of the\u00a0<\/span>passion of Elisabetta Pala. Elisabetta grows up in this Sardinian landscape.\u00a0<\/span>with her ideas about wine and she realizes\u00a0<\/span>with the company Mora & Memo, she realized her wine dream in 2013. Winemaker Elisabetta Pala carefully transforms the calcareous loam and sandy soil, the altitude, and the cooling effect of the sea into elegant wines. The vineyards are cultivated entirely organically. Mora & Memo focuses emphatically on producing only a few wines; all wines are\u00a0<\/span>gebotteld in mooie, bijzondere flessen.<\/p>\n
