The skin is thick, thereby preventing moisture from evaporating from the grape. In the wines made from it, you can smell the scent of apricot and citrus, along with that slightly burning aroma you notice on those scorching hot days. The same is true for the Sogno del Sud Grillo.<\/p>\n<p>The wine has a beautiful yellow color in the glass. The aroma of the wine is sweet, yet fruity, with hints of spices here and there. On the palate, the wine is fresh and soft, well-balanced, with a lingering finish.<\/p>\n<p>The Baglio Gibellina vineyard is located in a new town in Sicily, in the valley between the hills of Salemi and Santa Ninfa. The landscape is dotted with vineyards, olive trees, citrus trees, juniper bushes, and fichi d\u2019India trees. The grapes for the wine are hand-picked in late August\/early September. Furthermore, the wine is organically produced.<\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-text-large XcVN5d tw-ta\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Vertaling\"><span lang=\"nl\">Between the gentle hills, which appear red from the fields of Sulla (Hedysarum Coronarium) flowers, green from the wheat fields, and also golden as the wheat ripens, stand beautiful farmhouses that remind us of a grand Roman estate. Baglio Gibellina dominates the valley, and the landscape is dotted with vineyards, olive groves, citrus trees, junipers, and prickly pears from India. The blue of the sky and the sea on the horizon form the backdrop for a mix of typical Mediterranean colors. The sunsets visible from the Baglio are spectacular; at night, the mixture of lights stretching into the distance amplifies the \u201csound\u201d of the silence.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>What do we pair the Sogno del Sud Grillo with?<\/h3>\n<p>The dry white wine Sogno del Sud Grillo is perfect with grilled fish. Sea bass with lemon rosemary in its belly, a piece of salmon or salmon trout \u201cen papillotte\u201d with the necessary Thai seasonings.<\/p>\n<h3>Prizes won<\/h3>\n<p>The German Mundus Vini is one of the largest European competitions for quality wines.
