Thanks to its high proportion of Merlot, the wine is soft and plush with a delicious, silky texture. It has intense, savory fruit aromas. A rich nose of wild blackberries and strawberries, supported by spicy notes of cedar, camphor, and Sichuan pepper. On the palate, it is fresh and subtle. Bursting with fruit and beautifully soft tannins, with a long finish. It is a delight. In this more floral expression, the wondrous complexity of a top Bordeaux is once again evident. A delightful style that is instantly festive. The finish, juicy and decadent, confirms Fleur de Pedesclaux's refined style of its own.<\/p>\n<h3>Conversion almost complete<\/h3>\n<p>Since 2009, the people shaping the regeneration of Ch\u00e2teau P\u00e9desclaux have made a series of crucial decisions. Both in the vineyard and in the winery. The vineyards have been restructured and important new plots have been acquired. Since 2012, the estate has been experimenting with organic and biodynamic viticulture. So it was a natural progression, in 2019, to start the process that would lead to AB (Organic Agriculture) certification of the wines. This label guarantees that certified winemakers respect soil quality, biodiversity, water, air, people and the end product.<\/p>\n<p>This extensive evolution is visible in the unique architecture of both the castle and the winery. This ensures that 100% is fed by gravity. A stunning technological achievement carefully designed to allow the fullest expression of the P\u00e9desclaux terroir. Because the sole purpose of owners Jacky, Fran\u00e7oise and Manon Lorenzetti is exactly that: to create the best possible Fleur de P\u00e9desclaux.
