Fantastic!<\/h2>\n<p>Stellenrust Barrel Fermented Chenin Blanc is a distinctive, complex, and structurally refined white wine. The bouquet is reminiscent of a blend of pear, brioche, and quince. Pleasantly rich, yet with enough freshness! A creamy density and fullness, as well as a silky texture, characterize the discerning palate. Notes of caramel, honey, and panna cotta are complemented by a beautiful acidic structure that creates harmony. This Stellenrust Barrel Fermented<a href=\"https:\/\/wijnclubamsterdam.nl\/en\/kenmerk\/druif\/chenin-blanc\/\"> Chenin Blanc<\/a> is vinified from the grapes of old vines from the individual plots of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sa-venues.com\/things-to-do\/westerncape\/bottelary-hills-conservancy\/\">Bottelary Hills<\/a>. Perfectly balanced use of wood completes this amazing, powerful, and slightly independent white wine. All in all, a deliciously concentrated wine with zesty and spicy freshness, wonderfully matured aromas, and an exciting finish.<\/p>\n<h3>Winemakers with a social mission:<\/h3>\n<p>Stellenrust bottled their first wine on the farm in 1928. Today, the farm covers approximately 400 hectares (200 hectares planted), half of which stretches across the Golden Triangle area of \u200b\u200bStellenbosch, and the other half high in the Bottelary Hills, known for its cool climate and the late afternoon sea breeze blowing in from Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p>The farm is run by brothers Tertius (winemaker) and Kobus (vitiver), who are committed to following their father's dream: giving something back to the workers who themselves have given so much to the farm. As Fairtrade producers, they can boast one of the most successful Black Economic Empowerment projects in South Africa. This has led to 70 employees becoming owners of the land they cultivate.
