The Amastuola Primitivo is an organic red wine. A slightly different style from most Primitivos. This is definitely not a typical dark, jammy Primitivo. Amastuola Primitivo from Puglia is somewhat smoother in taste, making it pleasantly easy to drink. This smooth style is reflected in the color: a lighter ruby \u200b\u200bred. Aromatic notes of red fruit such as plum and cherry mingle with cinnamon. The fresh, medium-bodied taste is reminiscent of red apple, blood orange, and allspice. The finish is long and slightly syrupy. It is ready to drink now but will improve with a few years of cellar aging.
