This wine is made from exclusively French grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. A Bordeaux blend with the Italian sun produces a magnificent wine where everything is just right! It is not without reason that this wine is considered one of Italy's iconic wines. In fact, this wine may only be produced by the Tenuta di San Guido wine estate. This wine estate is located at the beginning of the 5 km long avenue Viale dei Cipressi.<\/p>\n<h3>The flavor goes completely wild<\/h3>\n<p>This is absolutely a fantastic wine. After optionally decanting to give the wine some air and allow it to open up, it immediately takes off completely. A fruit basket full of red and black fruit: including blackcurrant, blackberry, and blueberry. In addition, sweet spices, tobacco, leather, and menthol sensations on the nose and palate. Enormous elegance; everything is in its place. Beautiful integration of the wood, perfect soft-ripe tannins, very precise acidity, and an enormously long finish. Nevertheless, a finish without end.<\/p>\n<p>In the early 1940s, Marquis Mario Incisa della Rocchetta was already bringing grapevines from the French Bordeaux region to his Tenuta di San Guido estate, where he had them carefully planted. The Marquis was a great lover of Bordeaux wines. Moreover, he had by then seen a connection between the geological composition of the French Graves region and the area around Bolgheri. The first wine was ready in 1944, but it was not until 1968 that Sassicaia made its entrance onto the wine market. This resulted in astonishing success. In 1974, as a pirate, he defeated many top Bordeaux houses at a major tasting, thereby definitively establishing his fame. The Super-Tuscan phenomenon was born.<\/p>\n<p>Sassicaia is currently one of the most sought-after wines in the world.
