Ze zijn hier bij Banfi met cum laude geslaagd!<\/h3>\n<p>De Castello Banfi\u00a0 Toscana Cum Laude is een blend van Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot en Syrah. Een boeiende Supertuscan die deze vier edele druivenrassen vari\u00ebteiten verbindt, geselecteerd als het beste in de geschiedenis van Banfi voor hun wijngaarden in Montalcino. Het IGT stempeltje zegt hier dus niks. Top materiaal! Een wijn met een uitstekend potentieel.<\/p>\n<p>In de neus wordt de geur gekenmerkt door hints van rood fruit met intense kersentonen. Dit is\u00a0 vergezeld van kruidige tonen van zoethout en peper. Brede structuur, met zoete en krachtige tannines, zeer evenwichtig met een aanhoudende afdronk. Uiteindelijk biedt hij meer wanneer hij de tijd krijgt om te openen. Deze wijn volgt de klassieke lijnen van een zogenaamd super Toscaans rood met een breed scala aan aroma&#8217;s en een Toscaanse Zon die helder schijnt. Deze wijn kun je eigenlijk al direct schenken of anders nog minimaal een jaar of 5 bewaren voor wat extra rijping. Daar wordt ie nog interessanter van.<\/p>\n<p>U mag hem natuurlijk dagelijks schenken maar hij komt het best tot zijn recht bij een mooi stukje vlees en geroosterde groenten. Zelf nog een even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.culy.nl\/recepten\/klassieke-rode-wijnsaus\/\">een rode wijnsaus maken met een scheutje cr\u00e8me de cassis<\/a> erdoor en klaar is ie! Geloof ons &#8230; Er gaan gelijk stemmen op voor nog een volgende fles! Uiteraard ook een groot succes bij een diploma uitreiking als kado!<\/p>\n<h3>Castello Banfi<\/h3>\n<p>Castello Banfi werd in 1978 opgericht dankzij de wil van de Italiaans-Amerikaanse broers John en Harry Mariani. Vanaf het begin was het doel van de twee broers om een ultramoderne wijnmakerij te cre\u00ebren in combinatie met de meest geavanceerde wetenschap in de wijngaarden voor de productie van premium wijnen. Samen met de familie Mariani, Ezio Rivella, een van de belangrijkste oenologen van Itali\u00eb, die het begreep dat vanwege de rijkdom van de bodem en de bevoorrechte microklimatologische positie, het pand een groot ontwikkelingsvermogen zou hebben. In die jaren kochten de broers John en Harry ook Bruzzone, een historische wijnmakerij in Piemonte.
