Until a few years ago, this white grape was still called \u2018Tocai Friuliani\u2019, but that was not appreciated in Tokaj, Hungary. Hungary joined the EU and the name was rectified. Tocai is now reserved for a sweet wine from Hungary. This was not done willingly by the Friulians. The grape is very popular in the region, and many still call it Tocai.<\/p>\n
