The big brother of the Neropasso
Many of our customers are familiar with Neropasso. It is one of our most popular wines in the Wine Club Amsterdam range. The Neropasso is full, lots of black fruit, depth… But… it could be even better! The renowned winery Biscardo has released the Biscardo Ripasso della Valpolicella, which is the big brother of the popular red wine Neropasso. A Ripasso has a lot of fruit, a nice complexity and also has a soft and pleasant character due to the maturation of 12 months in oak barrels. A truly top wine with great value for money! The bouquet is rich and complex, with clear notes of cherries and chocolate in the background. The taste is dry, soft with a full harmonious balance. The aftertaste is long and pleasant. Truly a Ripasso that you can appreciate!
All details are important for this wine
In the months of January and February, the wine is then “passed” on the noble skin of Amarone to ensure that its structure becomes more important, rich in complex aromas and tannins. It is then aged for 12 months in oak barrels, with a light finish in barriques. The results are impressive. The Biscardo Ripasso della Valpolicella Classico Superiore is a treat for your tongue!
This wine is delicious with local dishes such as pastissada de caval (a local horse meat stew), and sorpressa. Can also be enjoyed with kale! Can he have it right?
