The renowned Italian wine critic Luca Maroni gives the red wine Cielo Gran Maestro Appassimento Rosso no less than 96 points! A very high score! We are also very enthusiastic about this wine. Especially because of the combination with the price! The wine is full and soft in taste with lots of fruit.
The Grand Maestro Appassimento rosso is partly made from dried grapes. This method is called Appassimento. It gives the wine a lot of intensity in the taste. The wine is velvety soft and contains very few tannins. The wine is made from two grapes: Primitivo and Sangiovese. Primitivo is a typical grape for the Puglia region. The sangiovese is probably one of the well-known and most planted red grapes in Italy. Sangiovese, for example, is known from Chianti in Tuscany.
This wine received a high score with 96 points at the wine competition ‘Annuario Dei Migliori Vino 2019’ by Luca Maroni.
Since 2020, Cielo e Terra has achieved B Corp certification, joining a global movement aimed at spreading a new and more developed business model. These companies allow higher ethical standards to be achieved, making profits as well as creating social and environmental benefits.

With the hashtag #UnlockTheChange, the large Italian B Corp community proposes a brand new model to meet business and sustainability.
Cielo e Terra also excels in the trinity: economic sustainability, ecological sustainability and social sustainability.
