Many customers of Wijnclub Amsterdam are already well acquainted with the great red wines I Muri Primitivo or the I Muri Negroamaro. But are you already familiar with the fruity I Muri Bianco? A beautiful straw yellow color with an intense, persistent fruity aroma, with hints of ripe yellow fruit. On the palate you taste a fresh pleasant wine that is well balanced, with a long finish. Like the other wines of I Muri, this wine has a strong price/quality ratio!

I Muri Bianco

To make the Bianco, producer Farnese Vini uses 33% Malvasia Bianco, 33% Chardonnay and 33% Verdeca grapes. The grapes for this Bianco come from 15- to 30-year-old vines. The soil is strongly iron- and limestone-rich and the subsoil is porous, providing good drainage. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed, then the must ferments in steel tanks and finally rests on the sediment for another 2-3 months.

Wine and food combination

This wine is easy-drinking and broadly applicable with food. Its delicate acidity makes it an excellent wine with drinks or as an aperitif. But also delicious with appetizers, fish soup, soft cheese and pasta with light sauces.
