Anglianico is one of our favorite Italian red grapes

Pipoli Aglianico Del Vulture is a pleasant, smooth and medium-bodied red wine. A dark red wine with lots of fruit in the scent. You also smell some vanilla and laurel. Part of the wine matures in oak barrels.A wine with a nice complexity for this price. In the taste you taste a good balance between fresh acids, sugars formed by the many hours of sun and soft tannins.

Made from 100% Aglianico grapes by Vigneti del Vulture. This is a wine producer from the Basilicata region. Basilicata is located in the south of Italy, between the heel and the point.The vines feed on the rocky terrain of Mount Vulture, an extinct volcano. The grapes also grow at an altitude of 800 meters and, in combination with the minerals in the soil, this produces a pleasant complexity in the wines.

The Anglianico grape is a winner

The Aglianico grape is mainly grown in the southern Italian regions of Campania and Basilica. It is one of our favorite red grape varieties. The wine from this grape is deep red, intense in taste with sometimes a somewhat smokey smell. Delicious! It is perhaps one of the best blue grapes in Italy. You can buy two Aglianico wines from us.

The Aglianico prefers to grow on volcanic soils, such as the slopes of Mount Vesuvius in Campania. The top wine Taurasi comes from this region. The Aglianico del Vulture is the pride of Basilicata!
