A Venetian blend

This is French and Italian in one bottle. A nice combination! The Corvina for smooth, delicious drinking and the Cabernet Sauvignon for that much-needed firmness. They complement each other nicely. The result is an exciting combination of the Italian Corvina and the originally French Cabernet Sauvignon grape. This Mavum Corvina Cabernet Sauvignon contains many aromas of black fruit and also a lick of vanilla. You taste soft dark forest fruit in the Mavum Corvina Cabernet Sauvignon. The structure has a creamy mouthfeel and a nice little bit of tannin for some hold at the end! Simply a high-quality glass of wine that everyone enjoys pouring. Very enjoyable to drink on its own or together with a matured cheese or with a fried/or stewed meat dish. Top with a fried duck breast with a blackberry sauce.

Biscardo Vino , their hit “Neropasso” as  proof of quality

At the end of the 19th century, the Biscardo family had interests in the textile sector, in viticulture and in the meantime their grandmother Teresa  managed the postal hotel “Tre Corone”. The winery, which they founded in 1878 as Veronese wine merchants, developed in the first decades of the 1900s thanks to the activity of father Terenzio Biscardo.

During the 1930s and 1940s the company expanded into the Italian market as one of the first in the catering bottle sector. There was also an export to Switzerland, England and Germany.
In the 1950s, thanks to the work of his son Luigi and his entrepreneurial qualities, the Biscardo company became one of the most important in the region with pioneering investments in the winemaking and bottling sector.

They now own ecologically certified vineyards in Veneto. With more than 150 years of winemaking experience, the Biscardo family has its feet firmly in wine. Their wines are known for their drinkability and excellent price/quality ratio. Based in the Soave region, brothers Mauricio and Martino today manage the family business.

Even today, with more than a century of experience behind them, the Biscardo family continues to strive to offer consumers ever higher quality. Their biggest success is their wine “Neropasso” of which we sell many, many bottles. Apparently they are doing something right. seems to us… so Try it out!
