The Franciacorta Monzio Compagnoni DOCG is a millesimato and made from one harvest! This sparkling wine has matured in the bottle for at least 18 months.

Franciacorta is the Italian counterpart of Champagne and absolutely cannot be compared to Prosecco. This refined wine is fermented in the bottle and therefore has a more refined and complex taste. Due to their southern location and higher light intensity from the nearby lake Lago d’Iséo, the grapes have enjoyed a little more sun and you can taste that! Less acidity, making the wine perfectly balanced. The wine is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Nero.
