The San Marzano Tramari Rosé di Primitivo is a deliciously dry rosato, the Italian word for rosé. Nice and fresh, lots of fruit, and a full finish! The Aglianico grape is used for this rosé, a real flavor bomb. Tramari is a rosé from Puglia, the heel of Italy, just the way a rosé should be. Salmon pink in color. Juicy, dry, and full of summer fruit, such as cherries, strawberries, and raspberries. The wine is beautifully balanced: smooth, round, and with pleasant spiciness on the nose.
The Primitivo grape normally produces fruity, deep, and intense red wines. The freshness of the San Marzano Tramari Rosé di Primitivo is therefore surprising. It could easily be a rosé from Provence. The beautiful color and smoothness are due to the rapid removal of (part of) the Primitivo must before fermentation. In Italy, this wine was awarded 94 points by Luca Maroni.
At the picnic, park, pool, lunch, and even BBQ. This rosé makes you happy on many occasions! Antipasti, grilled fish, and fish soup are our favorite dishes with the San Marzano Tramari Rosé di Primitivo.
