After drinking the Ai Galli Sauvignon Blanc Lison DOC, you are instantly back on track. A crisp and vibrant glass. It crackles immediately. It is a wine with a feisty attitude! It is fresh, with floral hints of jasmine, hawthorn, and wild mint, as well as spicy and pungent sensations of white pepper, sage, and fresh nettle. Notes of citrus fruit, apricot, and peach. The taste is fresh, softly full, elegant, and persistent. Wow, that is lovely as an aperitif, so keep pouring! Ai Galli Sauvignon Blanc Lison DOC is top-notch with a salad of fresh peas, grilled shrimp, a few lemon wedges, and you're good to go!
The Azienda Agricola Ai Galli farm, built around the 1970s, is now situated amidst nearly 50 hectares of vineyards, all located within the D.O.C. (Controlled Designation of Origin) Lison-Pramaggiore production area. Run with love and passion, respecting centuries-old rural customs and aware of the laws and rhythms of nature, the company's objectives have been achieved through the following organizational and productive principles: reducing yields per hectare, consolidating existing vineyards, and planting new vineyards with a wide variety of grape varieties per hectare. The control of the winemaking process and the subsequent aging of the resulting wines are carried out using the very latest oenological technology. Consequently, the production of a wide range of fine wines is increasingly appreciated by wine connoisseurs.
The awards won in recent years are not final results for the company, but confirmation that the chosen path is the right one. These awards encourage the company to continue in this direction. The company already enjoys a high reputation at the local level, namely in Veneto and in northern Italy. Its commercial management has also led to the spread of the brand in the main European markets.
Lison-Pramaggiore DOC encompasses the areas of most municipalities in Eastern Veneto. These extend from land near the sea to the border with Friuli. The area was already producing wine in ancient Roman times and was already highly developed under the Venetian Republic. The soil is particularly rich in calcium and calcareous clay, ideal for wine with a rich flavor. The Lison-Pramaggiore DOC is known for the cultivation of the most important international varieties – from Pinot Gris to Cabernet – and the indigenous varieties that also occur in nearby Friuli, such as Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Verduzzo.
