    Bubbling Italian thoroughbred!

Ferrari Maximum Brut is the Italian sparkling wine that the famous winemaker Giulio Ferrari was the first to produce at the beginning of the 20th century. It remains one of the finest and most beloved sparkling wines from this renowned winery in Trentino. In almost every bar in Italy, there is a bottle open, ready to be served immediately with the aperitivo. And this Ferrari gets off to a flying start as well... A wine with a brilliant straw-yellow color and fine mousse. On the nose, you immediately smell freshness and plenty of fruit. Sensations of apple, supported by notes of biscuit and lemon. Amidst the notes of ripe fruit, one finds pleasant hints of hazelnuts and crisp bread, derived from the more than 30 months of aging on the lees. And, of course, a good, long finish.

A Blanc de Blancs made from 100% hand-picked chardonnay grapes with 30 months of aging on their lees and an unmistakable style. This is a next-level sparkling wine. Due to this long aging, it has autolyse a process takes place in which the yeast cell kills itself and extra flavors and aromas are created.

TRENTO DOC is a household name in Northern Italy. It is a quality mark to indicate the quality of sparkling wine from Trentino.

The vineyards of the Ferrari company (obviously not to be confused with the car brand) are located in the mountains of Trentino at an altitude of 300-600 meters, facing south.

Due to its price, it is an excellent alternative to champagne without compromising on quality. You can always open a well-chilled bottle of this.

But when can that bottle actually be opened?

It is a wine that can be enjoyed on many occasions. Actually, also with an elaborate and festive breakfast, and of course with an aperitif. Continuing to drink with the meal goes without saying. As we said before: In Italy, there is always a moment for the Ferrari Maximum Brut.

Light Italian dishes such as Burrata Mozzarella with olives, drizzled with the finest olive oil, is, for example, a top combination. Combined with Ottolenghi's marinated and grilled (!!) grapes, it all becomes truly delicious and exclusive. It is like sitting by an Italian bay under a parasol, enjoying the sun.
