From vineyard to bottle: the story of Lea Winery

Franc Lizêr Bianco 0.0% is produced by the progressive winery Lea Winery, located in Friuli Venezia Giulia. This modern wine company manages 104 hectares of organic vineyards, spread across the sun-drenched hills of Northeast Italy. Since 2022, 17 hectares have been officially certified organic.

From grape to bottle, everything is done in-house. The grapes are picked manually and carefully destemmed. This is followed by a controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. But what really makes this wine special is what comes next. In 2023, Lea Winery invested in an innovative technology that dealcoholizes the wine via a special membrane system.

This system works at room temperature and therefore does not heat the wine. This way the fine aromas and flavors remain completely intact. Only the alcohol is selectively removed. The result is a wine that does not have to compromise on experience - but without alcohol.
