In 1889, the winemakers' cooperative in Tramin was founded. More than 100 years later, the Tramin cooperative has grown into a company with 270 winegrowers and an area of 230 hectares. Today, their wines are known both nationally and internationally for their consistently high quality.

Alto Adige is a fairly small wine region in Northern Italy of 5,000 hectares known for their distinctive character and excellent quality. This quality arises from the excellent mountain terroir, which is reflected in fresh, fruity and lively wines; the same goes for this wine. This grape and the vineyards are located in the best locations of the Adige valley. The vines are planted in calcareous clay and gravel soil at an altitude of 300 to 450 meters.

In the glass this wine shows a distinctive yellow color with a green tint. This is a particularly expressive glass of wine with intense aromas of nutmeg, exotic herbs and lychees. This Gewürztraminer differs from most Gewürztraminers. This is because it is much drier. This wine has been awarded several times by the Parool wine panel in recent years.
