Dry, Fresh, White, Fruity, Juicy and Organic … Everything a good glass of wine should have.

This Mas des Tannes Classique Blanc cleanses the palate nicely! Delightfully dry and gets the salivary glands flowing nicely. It was also bottled with only 2 grams of residual sugar. So, nice and dry! And besides, residual sugar isn't really necessary for aroma. Ripe fruit is important, though, and we have that here! Balanced and versatile, this compact and silky white wine presents itself on the palate. Lots of white juice with aromas of citrus, melon, and white fruit. Also some mango on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the Languedoc wine region ultimately captivates with good length. Mineral notes emerge in the aftertaste from the soil dominated by slate and gravel. The basis for the balanced Mas de Tannes Classique Blanc Bio from the Languedoc is the Grenache blanc grapes. The Mas de Tannes Classique Blanc Bio is truly a classic wine, as this Frenchman exudes extraordinary European charm. Not too much alcohol or heavy-handed here, but everything pleasantly refined.

Enjoy this white wine from France best chilled at 8–10°C. Delicious with pasta pesto, a grilled Mediterranean vegetable salad, or even some grilled goat cheese!

    Mas des Tannes

Located in the town of Montagnac in the lower Hérault valley, Mas des Tannes is the old sheepfold of the Cistercian abbey of Valmagne, situated near one of the rare springs from which it derives its name. The Domaine has changed owners frequently, the penultimate owner of which converted the entire vineyard to biodynamic farming in the early 1990s. It covers 60 hectares, of which 36 hectares are planted.

In 2006, Jean-Claude Mas acquired this privileged location with hilly terrain protected by pine forests and scrub, cradled by the Mediterranean climate (9 km from the sea) and the favorable north wind, all at an altitude of 120 meters. The clay-limestone soils are rich in organic life in the exuberant subsoil, which has never known a synthetic product. The vines are naturally resistant and vigorous, the fruit concentrated and healthy, the wines balanced and majestic.

They produce Mas des Tannes Réserve white and red, classic Mas des Tannes white and red wines with an average yield of 50 hl/ha and a planting density of 4,800 vines per hectare. The vines are 15 to 34 years old in the Pays d’Oc appellation.
