    Easy Malbec

Nowadays, we all drink Malbec from Argentina. In fact, we don't really know any better. However, Malbec is a grape that actually originates in Southwest France. We also encounter it in many Bordeaux wines. In any case, it is a quality grape that has remained unknown for too long. Tarani produces a much-loved wine from the classic Malbec grape. This Tarani Malbec can be described as sultry and soft, with a dark purplish-red color. The aroma is bursting with ripe fruit: plums, cherries, and blackberries. In addition, there are some sweet spices: think licorice and vanilla. On the palate, it is a medium-bodied wine with fine acidity and soft tannins.

The French version of Malbec is known for its robust character and spicy, grainy tannins. Consequently, most Malbecs only become more approachable when paired with food. However, this Tarani Malbec is much softer and more refined than all other Malbecs from France and can therefore be enjoyed perfectly well on its own.

When do you want to pair it? It goes perfectly with spicy dishes. Think of Greek lamb, couscous with Moroccan meatballs, a skewer with spicy beef, or spicy vegetable balls. Or try the wine with a spicy Surinamese roti.

    Vinovalie Cooperation

Since 2006, the Vinovalie winemakers from the Pays d’Ovalie together, combining the “joie de vivre” of Southwest France with all the colors and flavors of the Ovalie region. Within the group, everything revolves around collective performance. Leveraging the diversity of their team, the richness and complementarity of its winegrowing regions (Cahors, Fronton, and Gaillac), and the Estates & Châteaux to take on every possible combination and satisfy every consumer.
