Fine German Pinot Noir with elegance

Vibrant red fruit, subtle earthy notes and a juicy finish! The Hensel Aufwind Spätburgunder is a refined red wine from the Palatinate, one of the most important wine regions of Germany. Made from the Spätburgunder-druif (Pinot NoirIt has fruity aromas and light spiciness. Thanks to the relatively warm climate, the grapes can ripen optimally, while the calcareous soils ensure a beautiful structure and finesse. In the glass, the Hensel Aufwind Spätburgunder a bright, ruby red color. The aroma is inviting and full of notes of juicy cherries, wild strawberries, and subtle hints of clove and toasted wood. On the palate, the wine is soft and smooth, with a refined balance of fruit, tannins, and a light spiciness. The peppery finish gives the wine just that little extra character.

    This Spätburgunder pairs excellently with:

    • Quail or pheasant – The delicate game flavor pairs beautifully with the light spiciness of the wine.
    • Roasted chicken – The juicy structure of the wine enhances the flavors of grilled chicken.
    • Mushroom risotto – The earthy notes of mushrooms beautifully complement the fruity and spicy notes of the wine.
    • Soft cheeses – Think of a creamy Brie or a mildly aged Camembert.
