    Super characteristic white from Valencia!

“High aromatic intensity of elderflower, ripe fruit (lychee), saline. Beautiful fresh acidity, yet a round mouthfeel. Exceptional white wine!” The Moya Tibó Merseguera is a fresh white wine with intense aromas of orange blossom, acacia, citrus, and a hint of toast. This special blend comes from the vineyards of Valencia, Spain, where the Mediterranean influences clearly come to the fore. Made from Merseguera and a touch Muscat Made from petit grain, this wine provides a rich taste experience. The grapes grow at an altitude of 1050 meters, resulting in beautiful acidity and a thick skin. The Moya Tibó Merseguera appeals to anyone who enjoys a fruity wine with a long, refreshing finish.

Flavor and Food and Wine Pairings

The taste of De Moya Tibó Merseguera is refreshing and fruity, with notes of citrus and a subtle richness. The wine ages for four months ‘sur lie (on its own yeast),’ which provides extra complexity, structure, and depth. Thanks to the light notes of toast and lively acidity, this wine is versatile. Delicious as an aperitif or with shellfish. Additionally, it pairs excellently with Asian cuisine, where its fresh and floral character beautifully complements the flavors.

    Wijnhuis De Moya en vinificatie

De Moya is a family business founded by Yves and Sophie Laurijssens. Their vineyards, hidden in the mountains of Valencia, combine the best of old vines and modern winemaking techniques. The Merseguera grape thrives perfectly here at high altitude, thanks in part to the calcareous, sandy loam soil. The grapes are harvested early in the morning and cooled. Fermentation then takes place; 85% in stainless steel tanks and 15% in French oak barrels. This gives De Moya Tibó Merseguera its characteristic freshness and intensity, which impresses year after year.
