The Kolonne Null Cuvée Rouge No. 03 is a true Bordeaux wine from the vineyards of renowned producer Le Grand Verdus! A delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, but without alcohol. Partially aged in oak barrels, it gives the fruity wine a spicy touch with beautiful elegance. Little fresh fruit, but lovely oak notes. You really smell the wine; no strange cooked aromas. The taste is wonderfully subtle and soft with cassis and red fruit and a spicy edge.
In the glass, the wine is a beautiful ruby red. Intense aromas of red fruit, spices, and oak fill the nose. The taste is full, spicy, and fairly firm. Elegant and soft with red fruit and the zesty, herbaceous touch of oak. A fine accompaniment to red meat, root vegetables, and risotto.
The grapes for this Cuvée Rouge grow in the famous vineyards of Le Grand Verdus in the French Bordeaux. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot The grapes are gently pressed and subsequently aged partially in oak barrels. This long aging process ensures the preservation of the aromas and gives the wine an elegant tannin structure, making the wine feel fuller. The wine is then de-alcoholized. This is done using patented processes that allow the wine to retain its characteristic aromas.
