Sancerre follower from the Loire for a very sharp price!

There is Sancerre or Pouilly Fumé, of course, but this Noblesse de Loire Sauvignon Blanc It doesn't fall far short. And that for a fraction of the price. This is the kind of wine you simply have to keep chilled as standard. For yourself or for your guests. It is a classic fruity, crisp, vibrant wine with the typical characteristics of Sauvignon Blanc as only they are made in the Loire. Delightfully explosive on the nose with lots of fragrant lime, lemon, lovely grassiness, green bell pepper, and a hint of asparagus. The taste is downright fresh, and the palate cleansing. Beautiful acidity makes it a lovely aperitif wine. Refreshing and cleansing the palate. Exciting due to its acidity and with excellent balance. A superb aperitif wine par excellence, but take it along to the beach in the cooler, to the campsite, or on the boat. You simply can't go wrong with the Noblesse de Loire Sauvignon Blanc.

The Oisly et Thesée Cooperative has always held a prominent position in the Touraine wine region, surrounding the city of Tours. They were ahead of the curve as early as the 1960s. As the first cooperative, they had stainless steel installed in the cellar—a major investment, but naturally aimed primarily at producing better and fresher wines—and they still maintain that lead today. The vineyards of the cooperative's 60 members are, without exception, located in the area east of Tours, around the towns of Oisly and Thesée.

The wine comes from various vineyards in the middle and west of the Loire in the Touraine region. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled low temperature to preserve all the fresh aromas.

    Did you know:

The typical and highly recognizable aroma of Sauvignon Blanc is largely caused by the main aroma compound, Methoxypyrazines. These Methoxypyrazines are varietal compounds that smell like green bell pepper, which are present in elevated levels in underripe Sauvignon Blanc grapes and remain stable during fermentation and bottle aging. Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire is full of them. Those from New Zealand, due to their geographical location, can sometimes contain this substance in an even more than pleasantly high concentration. In addition, this scent is sometimes described as boxwood or even cat urine.
